Pnoy's SONA

How do we move forward if we keep on pulling others down?
Last  July 25, 2011, the elected president of the Republic of the Philippines, Benigno Simeon “NoyNoy” Aquino had his second State of the Nation Address at Batasan Pambansa ComplexQuezon City. The State of the Nation Address is an annual event in the Philippines, in which the President reports on the status of the nation, normally to the resumption of a joint session of the Congress . This is a duty of the President as stated in Article VII, Section 23 of the 1987 Constitution: The President shall address the Congress at the opening of its regular session. He may also appear before it at any other time.
He said with pride that during his term, our country has already had several changes compared to Macapagal's administration wherein falls were observed. P-noy opened doors to his accomplishments and the state of our country. He dubbed about the politicians who only prioritize their personal interests. He called them “utak wang wang”.  President Aquino vows to end culture of ‘wang-wang’. He calls on private sector to pay proper taxes. His government lines up new legislative measures for people’s benefit. President Aquino vows to defend country’s territory, sovereignty. President Aquino ready to submit proposed 2012 national budget to Congress. President Aquino appoints Carpio-Morales as new Ombudsman. President Aquino asks Filipinos to stop ‘culture of negativism’ or ‘crab mentality’. I think his SONA was all about the “wang-wang”. I am not that satisfied but its still his first year. Maybe, he has a lot more to do.
We all once fell. Are we going to stand and make a new beginning? It is now time to iron those folds and faults of our country. From his SONA, a stuent leader like me can learn many things from it. We must all work together for the improvement of our own country. Instead of pulling others down, Why not try to put them on our shoulders for us to reach our goal we all want to?

Isulong ang Breastfeeding! TSEK!

Breastfeeding should not be a choice. It is a must and a will. Breastfeeding is a need.
Children is everybody's concern. We are important in building a better community united with a common vision of loving and caring towards further development.
Tell me if there's a mother who wants to see her child to be sickly and malnourished. Is there a mother who wants to see her child to be as flat as paper or as thin as bamboo grass? Absolutely no person wants to. No person dares to and no person should be.
Once you've given birth, one of the most important things you can do or give to promote good health and to save your baby is breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is giving human breast milk to infants to meet their nutritional needs. According to study, babies who are fed with formula milk are more sickly. They are at risk of having ear infections, kidney infections, respiratory infections, pneumonia, bronchitis and blood poisoning. On the other hand, breastfeeding is beneficial. Aside from it is free, it is always ready and available. Breast milk contains all the vitamins and mineral your growing baby needs. Some of the nutrients in breast milk also help protect an infant against some common childhood illnesses and infections, such as diarrhea, middle ear infections, and certain lung infections. Breast milk provides the right balance of nutrients to help an infant grow into a strong and healthy toddler. You don't need to buy much for your baby saving you a lot of money. Breastfeeding plays an important role in our lives. It creates special bond of the mother and child which is one thing formula milk cannot do.
So, let us make detonation in the entire world and say, " I am the catalyst and advocate of right, enough and exclusive breastfeeding! "
